This Ernie Ball Slinky wound string is made with a smooth nickel-plated steel wire wrapped around a steel hex core. It has a warm, full-bodied tone which brings out more of the mid frequency range compared to other strings and delivers an easy-under-the-finger feel which won’t wear out frets.
