Ms. Keturah Richie is a Professional violinist with almost a decade’s experience in her instrument. Though she dabbles in other instruments and styles of music, she has been in love with the violin and classical repertoire since a very young age; and now she finds absolutely every possible opportunity to encourage that love in others.

She’s been playing with orchestras for the last 6 six years, beginning her experience with the Sulphur Springs Youth Orchestra. Nowadays, she often plays with the Northeast Texas Symphony Orchestra, Mount Pleasant Chamber Orchestra, and can be found playing numerous other solo and chamber gigs. 

She continues to pursue further schooling in Music Performance and Education, with the goal of being better able to help anyone and everyone possible have a positive experience learning to play a stringed instrument. She currently teaches Violin to students as young as 8 and as old as mid-60s, with the belief that with a little passion, some hard work, and a teacher that endeavors to find the learning style best for them, anyone can succeed in playing beautiful music.
